How do the Alamosa Women’s Pants fit, and which size should I choose?
The Alamosa Women’s Pants have a women-specific slim performance fit. Their 3-layer membrane stretch softshell and stretch panels on the outer thighs, inner legs, and crotch support movement in the riding position. A magnetic waist closure and hook-and-loop side adjustments let you refine the waist fit.
The Black variant is listed in sizes 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, and 34 in standard length. Compare your measurements with the Alpinestars size guide and check the fit in your riding position, ensuring the knee protectors remain correctly positioned without restricting movement.
What CE rating do the Alamosa Women’s Pants have, and is hip armor included?
The Alamosa Women’s Pants are CE-certified as a Category II motorcycle garment to EN 17092-4:2020, Class A. They include pre-installed Nucleon Flex Plus Level 1 knee protectors with a thin, flexible, breathable construction. Class A is the garment classification, while Level 1 refers to the knee impact protection.
BIOFLEX hip protectors are compatible but are not included; they must be purchased separately.
Can I adjust the knee armor position in the Alamosa Women’s Pants?
Yes. The Alamosa Women’s Pants feature 3-tiered knee protector pockets, allowing the pre-installed Nucleon Flex Plus armor to be positioned at three different heights. Color-coded pockets help you match the protector positioning on both legs.
Check the selected position while seated in your normal riding posture so each protector covers your knee comfortably.
Are the Alamosa Women’s Pants waterproof?
The Alamosa Women’s Pants use a 3-layer membrane stretch softshell, but the product specifications do not state a waterproof rating or confirm fully waterproof construction. The membrane description alone should not be treated as confirmation of waterproof rain coverage.
