Foire aux questions Masquer les FAQ
How do the SP Pro Pants fit, and how should I choose my size?
The SP Pro Pants have a regular cut and standard length, with an ergonomic, pre-curved shape designed around the riding position. Stretch CORDURA® denim and RIDEKNIT® inserts at the back yoke, knees and calves support freedom of movement.
The Black Black variant is listed in sizes 28, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 36, 38 and 40. Compare your measurements with the Alpinestars size guide and check the fit in your riding position, ensuring the knee and hip armor remain correctly positioned.
What CE rating and armor do the SP Pro Pants have?
The SP Pro Pants are fully CE-certified as a Category II motorcycle riding garment to EN 17092, Class AA. This is the garment’s protection classification, not the CE impact level of its individual protectors.
They include Nucleon Flex Plus knee armor and Bio-Flex hip armor for impact protection, alongside abrasion-resistant denim and aramid reinforcement in exposed areas.
Are the SP Pro Pants made from leather or denim?
The SP Pro Pants are textile motorcycle pants, not leather pants. Their outer shell uses 14 oz HDF stretch CORDURA® denim, with aramid knitted lining in the most exposed areas for additional abrasion resistance and reduced heat transfer.
RIDEKNIT® stretch inserts support mobility, while external triple stitching reinforces the construction.
Can I connect the SP Pro Pants to an Alpinestars motorcycle jacket?
Yes. The SP Pro Pants feature a waist connection zipper designed to connect them to an Alpinestars jacket. Check that your jacket has a matching connection zipper before pairing the garments.
What type of riding are the SP Pro Pants designed for?
The SP Pro Pants are designed for sport-oriented road riding on sport and naked motorcycles. Their pre-curved shape, stretch denim shell and RIDEKNIT® inserts combine riding-position comfort with Class AA garment protection and knee and hip armor.
Their race-derived pattern does not establish approval for a particular track event. If purchasing for circuit use, check the organizer’s clothing requirements before choosing this textile pant.
